पूर्वपरिस्थिति: 22 अप्रैल 2025 को जम्मू–कश्मीर के पहलगाम में हुए आतंकी हमले में 26 पर्यटकों की मृत्यु हुई। इसमें अधिकांश पुरुष थे, जिससे उनकी पत्नियों की विधवावस्था हुई।

नाम का अर्थ: 'सिंदूर' एक हिंदू विवाहित महिलाएं माथे पर लगाती हैं — इस नामकरण का उद्देश्य उन 25 विधवाओं को सम्मान देना था। इसके साथ ही "रक्त की कीमत चुकाना" का संदेश भी छिपा था  ।

HAMMER (PGB): सटीक ‘स्टैंड-ऑफ’ बम, 50–70 किमी दूरी तक  .

Kamikaze (Loitering) ड्रोन: SkyStriker जैसे ड्रोन (5–10 kg वारहेड) और HAROP (23 kg)  .

डमी एयरक्राफ्ट का उपयोग: पाक रक्षा प्रणालियों को धोखा देने के लिए नकली जंगी विमानों जैसा रडार-भ्रम बनाया गया  ।

निष्कर्ष: सभी हमले भारतीय हवाई क्षेत्र से शुरू हुए ("zero-intrusion") और लगभग 25 मिनट में समाप्त हुए  ।

आतंकवादी संख्या: भारतीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा ~100 आतंकी मारे गए, जिसमें जैश-चंद्रा राउफ अजान (Abdul Rauf Azhar) भी शामिल था  ।
